Video production is the process of creating a video from concept to completion consisting of three phases: Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production. The first phase is (Pre-Production) is where all the planning and coordination takes place. The second phase (Production) is when you capture and collect all the elements and everything else needed to go in your final video. Phase three (Post-Production) is where all the elements are combined and edited together to create the final video.

When it comes to working with a video production company, there are a few pointers to keep in mind when selecting the right one. Always review work done in the past to get an insight into the type of quality you will receive for your project. Go through reviews and testimonials as well. The company should be open to incorporating your needs in the overall scheme or explaining how close to your requirement they can come. Just because they do great work does not necessarily mean that they are accommodating of changes.

Here are some pointers to keep in mind when selecting the right team to assist you with video procession and other similar needs.

1. Experience
Anyone with a camera can call themselves a photographer or a video producer. At Robertson Professional Media, we have over twenty years of experience and produced professional videos for corporate marketing and training, educational, promotional, and more. Don’t just take our word for it, go through the reviews and testimonials put out there. We try to understand our client’s style and requirements before we begin working on the project. Other than experience, we also have an eye for detail and a knack for what we are doing.

2. Professionalism
By working in the corporate world and working with leaders in many industries, Robertson Professional Media understands the importance of professionalism during the production process. This professionalism translates to your final product. While I do have a candid approach at times, I am always professional when it comes to my work.

3. Industry knowledge
We at Robertson Professional Media knows how to use the right tools like lighting, cameras, voice, and music to communicate your message. There are instances I might need assistance, and even if that is the case, I work with the best in the field. We always leverage the right tools to give the client exactly what they are looking for.

4. Ability to listen
In a world where everyone is talking, Robertson Professional Media takes time to listen. We listen when you tell us about your business and goals. We also listen to your needs when it comes to the video. Since video production is not a simple process, there are times when clients misunderstand what we are capable of, and we explain why we cannot meet specific requirements. We then look to find the best possible middle ground.

5. Ability to communicate
While this may seem a given with video production companies, it is not. Robertson Professional Media understands that one of the most significant parts of the process is to carefully craft and deliver your message.
